Hello World Commodore 64
Bleepstreet Records
Do you remember the old commodore 64? So long ago it existed it was the de facto standard before IBM, Microsoft and others blitz'd the competition, into oblivion. The video above this is an interesting mashup of that same system, prepare for the beats and enjoy the sounds!

Sims2 Family Stuff - Playing from the Family Stuff CD

Been a long time since something made an appearance here and I realize it is because I have been more focused on dream analysis and the technical fun of Ubuntu to have written much here in these last few months. Well today, when reinstalling sims2 (long story) I ended up installing Family Stuff, which installed simply enough but after the fact, I was able to play the full sims game from the Family Stuff CD with some slight variables, such as when going to a lot and building walls they were all red and when I was about to quit out of the program the walls lit up and flashed like neon. Was pretty call and all but I figured it must be an issue with the game, because it made little or no sense.

So far as it goes, have not picked up a copy of Sims3 Yet and I wonder if it is really worth the time or the price, anyone playing it?

Sims3 & It's Release Date

As it has been in the news for some time going back as far as 2006, that a new version of that game, that life simulator that is Sims shall be coming out with a new and improved version. The story goes we should see Sims3 in stores sometime in 2009, hard to say for sure. Looking forward though, it should be interesting to explore and test out for any bugs or issues that any new version is sure to have. My plan to play and to report, so pc-gaming-bugs.blogspot.com is the first place to get the information and the insight from a players perspective. The future should be interesting and so shall the games Electronic Arts Plans to Send out.

In other news, just put out a recent review of sims2 so far which can be found:
Right Here!

And further writings are available at either of the two below:

More to come soon for more bugs and issues you can take a look at:

Sims2 University Damn Bugs

Recently picked up the sims2 university, expansion pack and started messing with just to see how many errors could be found. Surprisingly there was not many at first, though the journey is ongoing, one thing I noticed in a recent play, that when your house is robbed by the bungler and you become there friend, after you have taken some classes at the University and received the reward of the plant, you can starve the plant so that the cake is outside, and after inviting your enemy er friend, you can go ahead and let them have the cake. Of course for any one who has played this game, you know when the cake is out the plant is going to eat whomever tries and take it. So here goes your enemy trying to get the cake and then being eaten, seems pretty straightforward until you see the ghost. In the recent event, the ghost made an appearance but just as a ball seemingly stuck under the computer desk where it remains until you sell the gravestone. So its funny but rather annoying besides. There is more to come with more playing.

Sims 2 and more Bugs Found - Or is it just the view of the Company?

Some more funny tips direct from the player, is there a sexist bias over alien abduction?

You know when your sim is abducted, though usually male, often times they are pollinated, funny how that works and the male caricature goes through the stages of pregnancy as if it was their own child. Well have you ever had, a female sim get abducted? Did you notice anything different about that female sim after the fact? The simple answer is probably not, as it has been found in experience, that a female sim is abducted, shows the video the whole bit. She gets back and nothing has changed. Isn't that funny?

So the question is was there a gender bias when that was produced, to where only male sims become impollinated? What does that say about the company, what kind of a view is after the fact? Who knows, to say the least it was one more spin as you play the sims2 whereby there are so many malfunctions ... it makes it interesting to say the least.

That is it for now, more details and fun stuff coming soon.

As it Continues

Been sometime certainly since a line been dropped here. Been an ongoing process playing out the sims2 and finding all the bugs. :) There is certainly no shortage of them. When EA Games put the base game on the market there must of been many many more issues then, in comparison to now. And to think they just released the Sims2 FreeTime Expansion. I have not had the opportunity to try that out although I would like to. Just to see how it is played and if there are other issues that may appear. Overall the game is good but just as with my domain it seems a game is also under constant revision. To say the least, as many of them as are sold the money still keeps rolling in.

Onto the latest bugs found:
  • When you build a foundation with any angle for some reason the sims will get stuck there as if there is a wall ... and the only way to get them out is to have them walk elsewhere away from the corner.
  • When using some of the custom vehicles such as the sedan with the paintjob I have found there is some issue whereby an error message pops up asking you to retry, cancel or delete. May have something to do with the change owner option. I am still investigating that one.
  • When travelling to the Community lot in your vehicle, there is nobody in the driver side of the vehicle. Funny as hell, until of course you get to the community lot at which time by some miracle the sim is out and walks in.
  • When having twins sometimes when there birthday is on the same day the sims keep wanting to help with birthday but they do nothing until about 6:30a sim time. And they keep wanting to help with birthday. Seems like a messed up loop.
  • When you attempt to disable custom content from the prompt you still have the custom content. So perhaps the disable option is not working. Also it would be nice to able to selectively choose which content you want enabled and which content you do not want enabled.
All I have found for now. Will expand later.

More to The Story

Sims2 Nightlife expansion:

After messing with the seasons for a bit I decided to step it up to nightlife, just to see some of the possibilities that open up. Thus far the program seems to run faster and less bugs, surely it is not without its own. As we mess with this game we shall see how many bugs can be found.

Another fun bit of crap from sims2 nightlife ... how exactly is it that if you build a foundation with an angle for some odd reason these pixelations get stuck in it? As if there is a wall ... and you have to direct them in a different way to get them to go where you expected them too. Apparently with the last update this bug still remains. Annoying as it can be, the solution place some trees on the angles. Or if you are just feeling psychotic ... let them sit there like idiots and speed up to three and watch them die. Satisfaction Guaranteed. We shall see how many other bugs can be found as the game is continually plays.

If you have found any bugs yourself comment and will see if we can get together a great collection and how to enjoy the awareness of it all.

Any bugs you have found leave them in the comments.
