Well today, when reinstalling sims2 (long story) I ended up installing Family Stuff, which installed simply enough but after the fact, I was able to play the full sims game from the Family Stuff CD with some slight variables, such as when going to a lot and building walls they were all red and when I was about to quit out of the program the walls lit up and flashed like neon. Was pretty call and all but I figured it must be an issue with the game, because it made little or no sense.

So far as it goes, have not picked up a copy of Sims3 Yet and I wonder if it is really worth the time or the price, anyone playing it?

Knatchwahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07796560630834377585noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8444644055482684148.post-35118704244784190792008-08-27T14:54:00.001-07:002008-08-27T14:54:40.178-07:00New & Exciting UpdatesBrand new and further improved iDiscuss Forums @ http://hok-international.net/smf/index.php?board=28.0 And the story continues onward with additions of new entries @ www.political-sylum08.blogspot.com & www.bike-journeys.blogspot.com

And that is only the beginning the objective is to do a complete redesign of the site and explore the possiblities beyond that moment, any suggestions?Knatchwahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07796560630834377585noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8444644055482684148.post-76719562117191863462008-08-25T10:24:00.001-07:002008-08-25T10:24:41.814-07:00is watching http://www.ustream.tv/channel/live-campaign-coverage join inKnatchwahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07796560630834377585noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8444644055482684148.post-18367750337686073022008-08-25T01:04:00.001-07:002008-08-25T01:04:20.215-07:00Come Check out Twitter @ http://twitter.com/knatchwa or add me as a friend @ http://writeit.hok-international.net/ or share your views @ http://forums.hok-international.net/Knatchwahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07796560630834377585noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8444644055482684148.post-84122952058018083372008-08-06T00:56:00.001-07:002008-08-06T00:56:15.220-07:00Sims2 and Some Reviews
The wonders of personal computer games and the bugs thus associated. The story goes we should see Sims3 in stores sometime in 2009, hard to say for sure. Looking forward though, it should be interesting to explore and test out for any bugs or issues that any new version is sure to have. My plan to play and to report, so pc-gaming-bugs.blogspot.com is the first place to get the information and the insight from a players perspective. The future should be interesting and so shall the games Electronic Arts Plans to Send out.
Surprisingly there was not many at first, though the journey is ongoing, one thing I noticed in a recent play, that when your house is robbed by the bungler and you become there friend, after you have taken some classes at the University and received the reward of the plant, you can starve the plant so that the cake is outside, and after inviting your enemy er friend, you can go ahead and let them have the cake. Of course for any one who has played this game, you know when the cake is out the plant is going to eat whomever tries and take it. So here goes your enemy trying to get the cake and then being eaten, seems pretty straightforward until you see the ghost. In the recent event, the ghost made an appearance but just as a ball seemingly stuck under the computer desk where it remains until you sell the gravestone. So its funny but rather annoying besides. There is more to come with more playing.

Knatchwahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07796560630834377585noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8444644055482684148.post-41256496221482468842008-04-20T23:47:00.001-07:002008-04-23T17:47:39.611-07:00Sims 2 and more Bugs Found - Or is it just the view of the Company? Some more funny tips direct from the player, is there a sexist bias over alien abduction?

You know when your sim is abducted, though usually male, often times they are pollinated, funny how that works and the male caricature goes through the stages of pregnancy as if it was their own child. Well have you ever had, a female sim get abducted? Did you notice anything different about that female sim after the fact? The simple answer is probably not, as it has been found in experience, that a female sim is abducted, shows the video the whole bit. She gets back and nothing has changed. Isn't that funny?

So the question is was there a gender bias when that was produced, to where only male sims become impollinated? What does that say about the company, what kind of a view is after the fact? Who knows, to say the least it was one more spin as you play the sims2 whereby there are so many malfunctions ... it makes it interesting to say the least.

That is it for now, more details and fun stuff coming soon.

Keep Playing - The Bug Hunt Never Ends.

Updated Site here.

Some Other Writing.

Knatchwahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07796560630834377585noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8444644055482684148.post-67960327269400770142008-03-04T16:34:00.000-08:002008-03-04T16:43:44.751-08:00As it ContinuesBeen sometime certainly since a line been dropped here. Been an ongoing process playing out the sims2 and finding all the bugs. :) There is certainly no shortage of them. When EA Games put the base game on the market there must of been many many more issues then, in comparison to now. And to think they just released the Sims2 FreeTime Expansion. I have not had the opportunity to try that out although I would like to. Just to see how it is played and if there are other issues that may appear. Overall the game is good but just as with my domain it seems a game is also under constant revision. To say the least, as many of them as are sold the money still keeps rolling in.

Onto the latest bugs found:

When you build a foundation with any angle for some reason the sims will get stuck there as if there is a wall ... and the only way to get them out is to have them walk elsewhere away from the corner.

When using some of the custom vehicles such as the sedan with the paintjob I have found there is some issue whereby an error message pops up asking you to retry, cancel or delete. May have something to do with the change owner option. I am still investigating that one.

When travelling to the Community lot in your vehicle, there is nobody in the driver side of the vehicle. Funny as hell, until of course you get to the community lot at which time by some miracle the sim is out and walks in.

When having twins sometimes when there birthday is on the same day the sims keep wanting to help with birthday but they do nothing until about 6:30a sim time. And they keep wanting to help with birthday. Seems like a messed up loop.

When you attempt to disable custom content from the prompt you still have the custom content. So perhaps the disable option is not working. Also it would be nice to able to selectively choose which content you want enabled and which content you do not want enabled.

All I have found for now. Will expand later.Knatchwahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07796560630834377585noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8444644055482684148.post-85509732549548837822008-02-08T20:52:00.000-08:002008-02-22T23:22:58.362-08:00More to The StorySims2 Nightlife expansion:

After messing with the seasons for a bit I decided to step it up to nightlife, just to see some of the possibilities that open up. Thus far the program seems to run faster and less bugs, surely it is not without its own. As we mess with this game we shall see how many bugs can be found.

Another fun bit of crap from sims2 nightlife ... how exactly is it that if you build a foundation with an angle for some odd reason these pixelations get stuck in it? As if there is a wall ... and you have to direct them in a different way to get them to go where you expected them too. Apparently with the last update this bug still remains. Annoying as it can be, the solution place some trees on the angles. Or if you are just feeling psychotic ... let them sit there like idiots and speed up to three and watch them die. Satisfaction Guaranteed. We shall see how many other bugs can be found as the game is continually plays.

If you have found any bugs yourself comment and will see if we can get together a great collection and how to enjoy the awareness of it all.

Any bugs you have found leave them in the comments.Knatchwahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07796560630834377585noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8444644055482684148.post-26635968218861420392008-01-19T01:33:00.000-08:002008-02-15T23:40:35.794-08:00Some Fun With MicrosoftInformation they say is power, so what do you know about windows?

So many security flaws in windows it is amazing and yet thus far a majority of personal computers still run it. Why I wonder, there are alternatives, SUN just started offering its O/S as open source. Linux, has been on the forefront of that process for so long so why is it still so many pcs use MS Windows.

It may be just a result of a long held monopoly and little choice in the earlier years until recently. Hope fully it continues to be realized there are options.Knatchwahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07796560630834377585noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8444644055482684148.post-15441265014712703602007-12-26T15:22:00.000-08:002008-02-15T23:42:22.886-08:00Age Of Empires: The ConquerorsAs I review ps2gamebugs it becomes clear that there was a slight mixture of one over the other so instead I will move the AoE II to this blog where it can be made more interesting.

Seems this is a pretty stable game, as it has been out for sometime. And most if any bugs surely have been found in early revisions. You never know though what you can find if you keep exploring.Knatchwahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07796560630834377585noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8444644055482684148.post-86040649355514680602007-12-26T14:52:00.001-08:002008-01-12T03:16:04.806-08:00Sims2 and its Wacky BugsA fun game, and a long held franchise. Another one of EAs many buggy programs that are out on the market. Here we will explore some of the insanity that Sims The Franchise offers the interested gamer.

Found an interesting one just the other day, as I was playing sims2 season, at 1280x1024 using a radeon x1300 with 512mb of ram and Win Xp x64. Apparently for some reason after it snows everything turned blue. And besides that annoyance that is the penguin was like walking sideways forward like it could not go forward only sideways. That was fun.

<date>
And the story continues, I decided to give in and buy seasons expansion pack just to see if it was worthwhile or not. Surely I was in for a surprise with this Sims2, it works fine for awhile, but as it is personalised it becomes more interesting. Seemed pretty stable until I went and tried the Happy Holidays Stuff Pack. I downloaded the crazy mustang from the custom content page, and then an update to sims2 became available. Supposedly it was supposed to fix some of the bugs in sims2, malfunctions that until now I had not seen.

So I download the driveways and the garage, throw the mustang in there after I "updated" sims2 playing along just fine until I decide to go for a spin in the Mustange, at which point, lo and behold a bug made its appearance, For some reason after the update when I go to drive the car the pixelation, instead of going into the car, stands on the side of it as it drives out of the driveway and upon returning oh boy more fun, he could not get out it was stuck. Fun huh, and more to come on the updates.

Sims2 and seasons with the stuff pack, I am playing along having a good time. Got the love tub all setup and just having fun messing with it. Everything seems fine woohoo a few times and try for a baby a few times. And then once both out of the tub, considering it was winter at the time almost immediately the choice comes up to freeze, though moments earlier the temperature was fine, so I go ahead warm her up using a hair dryer no less, she gets up for a second and then freezes again. Fun fun fun, eventually I solved it by warming the character up and then having the character run inside and take a shower. The wonders of a game and its bugs, and it only gets better from here.

Still searching bugs make things fun.Knatchwahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07796560630834377585noreply@blogger.com0
